The 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training Course in Nepal with Madan Yoga covers both theoretical and practical aspects of yoga teachings. Through this program, you will get a solid foundation of the traditional teachings of yoga, meaning asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, anatomy/biomechanics, Ayurveda, philosophy, ethics, and professional development. You will also gain valuable insight into teaching methodology, paired with practical sessions and assignments to work on various topics discussed in class and to design your own sequences and classes. You will be studying among dedicated and experienced teachers whose aim it is to create a comfortable environment for you to learn and grow in the yoga field. Each week, you will have one full day free of lectures, so that you have time to self-study, journal, and take space for yourself to receive your learnings fully.
After completing the 24-day curriculum, all participants are eligible for the designation of a registered yoga teacher affiliated with Yoga Alliance.

This 200-Hrs Yoga Teacher Training course in Nepal with Madan Yoga is accessible for all who would like to develop as a yoga practitioner, but also for those who would like to take their practice one step further and aspire to share and teach others. Both beginners and more advanced practitioners are welcome to enroll in the Yoga Teacher Training course with Madan Yoga. We require all students to be disciplined throughout the whole course period and attend classes at all times, unless in case of sickness or emergencies.
All students of the Yoga Teacher Training course with Madan Yoga must show their comprehension of the discussed topics in a written and practical exam. Upon successful completion of the course, all participants receive a certificate recognized by Yoga Alliance.

Yoga Teacher Training with Madan Yoga: Locations in 2023
Himalayan View YTTC:
Nestled in the foothills of the Annapurna Himalayan Range, at an altitude of 1,600 meters, lies the local mountain village Astam. Astam is approximately 20 km away from Pokhara and offers serenity and peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The course venue is located at Annapurna Eco Village Resort in Astam Village, close to Pokhara, Nepal. It is a local village where life is slow and peaceful - an ideal spot to immerse yourself in your yoga practice. From here, the views on the Annapurna Himalayan Range as well as the surrounding hills and towns are just stunning. Annapurna Eco Village Resort in Astam offers spacious and bright private rooms in authentic cottages (Queen sized beds) with attached bathrooms. There is a huge garden as well as a big, newly built, and inspiring yoga hall where classes will be held. From all rooms, we have views of the Himalayan mountains. Pokhara (Summer season) YTTC:
Pokhara is the second largest city of Nepal and is truly unique in its location: The Annapurna Himalayan Range is in the immediate distance and the stunning snow peaks can be observed from most parts of the city. Pokhara is also home to many green hills, waterfalls, forests, and a lake - Phewa Lake. All this makes Pokhara a great place to learn and immerse yourself in your yoga practice. The course venue for the Yoga Teacher Training Course in Pokhara is located at The Mountain House, 17th street, Lakeside, Pokhara. From here, the Phewa Lake is just 10 minutes walking distance away - and you can see the famous "Fishtail" Machapuchhre mountain from the rooftop! The Mountain House offers spacious and bright private rooms (Queen sized beds) with an attached bathroom and hot shower. There is a beautiful garden as well as a newly built and inspiring yoga hall where classes will be held. The food will be entirely vegetarian/vegan organic meals.
A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the spot for our program (transaction to the bank account of Madan Yoga). Please note that your spot will only be secured once we have received your deposit. Upon registration of the program, we will e-mail you the final invoice. The rest of the course fee must be paid on the start day of the training. The deposited fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless the course is canceled by Madan Yoga. If the course is canceled by Madan Yoga, the deposit will be fully refunded. All fees are non-negotiable. If a student requires withdrawal from the program for any reason, they must first contact Madan Yoga to discuss their reasons for withdrawal. If you decide to leave within 3 days after the start of the program, we will refund your course payment less an administrative fee of $400 USD. No refunds will be issued after the 3rd day of classes had begun. After the 3rd day, if a student needs to withdraw because of illness or emergencies, no refund will be given but he/she may be given credit to complete the course at a later time.
